My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is the blog challenge because they are fun to do and they are very creative.

Something that has challenged me this term has been the Whetu challenge because I’m not very good at creation stuff that I have never done. (But I never gave up)

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the milk carton one because I had the most experience about creating with milk bottles.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was making the pom pom’s because they were nice and soft and squishy.

An aim I have for my learning is a supernova because they are the best thing you can aim for in the class. I will add more detail to my work and listen to instructions more.

This week for our Whetu Challenge we created something using egg cartons.



The hardest thing was finding the body shape of my turtle because I was going along as I thought about how to make my turtle.

    

The easiest part was painting the turtle green and brown because it didn't take that long.

The funnest part was painting the turtle green and brown because I like painting.

Paper Plane Challenge

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane.

We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we

had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be an outside challenge, like touch.

I decided to use the design of a jet plane.

The hardest part was getting the folds even.

During our competition time I managed to score 28 all up.

My Character Creation

This week I decided to make me in 20 years and this is what I look like. I like the tattoo thats on my chest,I was going to go as a army man but I decided to now because there wasn't to dress up in.

This week for the maths mystery Paddy and I h helped each other but didn't work together. THE SUSPECT WAS YVES. The easiest part was crossing out the people on the list. The hardest part was reading the words on the slide. So then I went in present and then I could see the words.

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today I worked with Max Johan.🗣

At first we had trouble with finding the tape end.✇

The easiest thing was screwing up the newspaper.📰 

The best part of our tower was when we presented it because the tennis ball stayed on and when we tried to do it first it did not.🗼

Our tower looked like a newspaper bottom,a newspaper tower and newspaper balls.🎾

In the end I enjoined it😄😄😄

This is my math mystery that I did. Paddy and I helped each other but we didn't work together. THE CULPRIT WAS CAPTAIN STEVE!!!

Word Of The Week

This is my word of the week that I did. It took awhile but I got there in the end, It took one week to complete because I couldn't find a sentence to put on there.    

Blog Challenge

This week for the pet blog challenge I put my rabbit Smokey. I didn't know what bread Smokey was so I just out his colours. When I first got my rabbit he bit a hole in a pair of my shorts. The pet shop owner said that Smokey was a girl but about one year later we found out he was a boy!
